Day trip out of Anchorage featuring a glacier cruise and Alaska wildlife conservation tour—a must-do experience!

Description:

This glacier experience begins with a pick-up from your hotel by a reputable guide in a comfortable passenger van. Your journey starts with one of Alaska’s most scenic drives along the Seward Highway and Turnagain Arm, with sight-seeing stops at Beluga Point and Bird Point.

In the Portage Valley, you’ll visit Explorer Glacier, Middle Glacier, and Byron Glacier before boarding the M/V Ptarmagin for a one-hour cruise on Portage Lake. Enjoy incredible views of surrounding glaciers and striking landscapes, with Portage Glacier as the highlight.

After the cruise, we’ll stop for an optional lunch before heading to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. There, you’ll explore the 200-acre facility, guaranteed to see Alaska’s mammals in their natural habitats and much more.

On the return trip, we’ll make a final stop at Falls Creek before dropping you off at your desired location in Anchorage.
